Signs Your Husband Should Not Do The Laundry

While extra help with household chores is a welcomed thing, something that you want to encourage, laundry is not for everyone. Some minor mistakes here and there can really cost you a lot of extra money in clothes, and machine repairs. If you notice mistakes happening frequently it may be time to pull aside your spouse and gently offer to take over the responsibility.

That new men’s sport watch that was a gift from work is now firmly lodged in the lint trap of the dryer. There is no telling how it made it to the washer in the first place, but it is most certainly a lost cause. The only real question is how much the repair on the dryer is going to cost.

The new maternity wear that took several weeks to amass, not to mention numerous credit cards, now looks as though it will fit the baby just fine. Trying to stretch it back out proved to me a task done in vain. Another shopping trip is on the horizon. This is not something that was in the home budget.

The delicates did not fair so well and she is making another trip to the mall.

All the socks are pink. The shirts that you know used to be white are now pink. Something has most definitely gone wrong, and your spouse refuses to admit that this is not normal. While it is true that real men wear pink, real men generally plan it out first.

She continues to insist that the cashmere sweater was always meant for the dog. That shade of blue complements the tint of her fur just right. You think briefly about how much you remember that sweater costing. Now it is time to pull her aside and offer to relieve her of the laundry, you will happily take over.
