Can You Win Your Wife Back After a Screwup?
Well, you blew it and now you’re whining “I need my wife back!” Maybe it was the first time you messed up. Or maybe it was a old habit you thought she’d never call you on.
You made your bed and now you’re going to have to lie in it. Even so, you do have some options. Do you mean it when you say “I can’t go on without her”? If so, you have work to do.
The first thing you need to do is admit your errors. Don’t make excuses for it and don’t deny that it was a mistake.
When you admit the error of your ways you may get an earful. You have to suck it up. This is no time to defend what you did.
Be sure not to lie about whatever you did. Lying will only lessen your chances of getting your wife back.
For sure don’t claim that what you did wasn’t that big of a deal. If it could cost you your marriage, then definitely it qualifies as a big deal.
The second thing that you are going to have to do is convince her that you are willing to change. Words alone won’t do it. You need to show her that you’re serious by your actions
If there is something that you need to stop doing, then stop it. If you haven’t been meeting your responsibilities pick up the slack.
Too many guys have a problem with drugs or alcohol. If that’s the situation you’re in, you’ll probably have to get professional help to solve the problem. If you’re serious when you say “I want my wife back”, this is a must-do step.
If you think you don’t need to make some changes, think again. If you keep doing the same things over again you’ll keep getting the same results..
